Among the patrons sat two utility employees, Ally and Hadi, engrossed in a casual conversation. Around them skyscrapers glistened with vertical gardens, providing clean air and sustenance for an ever-growing population. Drones buzzed above, delivering packages with pinpoint accuracy, guided by advanced algorithms. A decade earlier, Ally and Hadi were among the select group of elite electric utility engineers from across the nation selected to work on a transformative concept called `Project Einstein', with the purpose to link and harmonize human intelligence with the largest manmade system in the world; the Electric Power system, a concept that would generally come to be known as the `Unity of Existence between humans and machines'. The project was a success, with the electric system now transformed with the power of artificial general intelligence (AGI) making decisions to optimize the flow of energy across the nation. Project Einstein had revolutionized the electric grid, empowering AGI to optimize energy distribution nationwide. However, the engineers purposely made that the system so that it does not become completely independent. Their design ensured maintaining a crucial link with human intelligence, acknowledging the need for their expertise in addressing a variety of challenges, including emergencies, and system growth as well as to make sure. The seamless integration between human and artificial intelligence was a marvel of human ingenuity. Ally and Hadi, were now responsible for assisting the electric system in its operation especially to prevent system emergencies.
