The company’s major foray into the U.S. market began in the late 2000s, when TTE secured contracts through competitive public tenders to supply transformers to the U.S. Department of Energy. These transformers were deployed in hydroelectric power plants operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers—a testament to TTE’s capability to deliver complete design, manufacture, and commissioning solutions. In line with its growth strategy, TTE has invested USD 30 million to enhance its production capabilities at its Argentina-based facility, doubling its annual capacity to 4000 MVA.
